Material fell apart in a couple of days. Shedding off the shoe. Super disappointed. Thought this brand was worth the $$. Will not buy born again.

Nice casual shoe but feels slightly wider than my normal D width. Roomy toe box allows for thicker socks.

Fit was fine. I did not really like the rough finish of the leather. I ordered a pair of brown loafers to replace these.

These look like great shoes but they fit as well as a combat boot that is uncomfortable as can be. They’re basically shit.

Very confused about the first pair that was sent. I have been wearing size 10 D shoes since I was a teenager (now in my 60’s). The shoes I ordered were huge although marked as 10 M. I like the finished leather look and ease of keeping clean. I reordered what I though would be the same shoe in a 9.5M. They fit okay but a still a bit wide (no option other than M was available). I installed new footbeds, thicker then the original and they fit a bit better. But the new pair was not the knurled finish leather I was expecting. They were brown suede instead. Having already sent back one pair, I decided to keep the new ones. Not super pleased but at least I have new shoes

I have always worn a size 8 shoe. My feet felt like they were swimming in this shoe. It definitely felt like at least a size 9. It’s unfortunate they don’t make smaller sizes when their shoes are so oversized compared to other brands.

Beautiful shoe. I’m very happy once I got the right size. I originally bought the Born Baylor in a size 10 1/2, as thats the size of sneaker/shoe I wear in almost every other brand. The shoe felt about an inch longer than I was expecting, causing my heel to rub up and down agains the back of the shoe. After about 3 minutes of wearing in the house I developed a skin tear on my heel, a blister forming, and pain. I took them off, and bought a heal stick-on cushion. No dice. I stacked three cushions on top of themselves and the shoe was still too large. I returned the size 10 1/2 and got a full size smaller 9 1/2, and they fit pretty well so far. They’re a little hard to get on, and the heal still rubs a bit, but I think as I break in the leather and it softens they’re going to conform to my foot shape and fit really nicely.
Side note: I saw some folks complaining about the shoe quality in their reviews, but I saw their photos and they’re of the rough leather style, which is their natural look and some leather pilling is normal. I got the smooth leather style, and they seem very high quality. I don’t suspect I’ll see any problems with them.

They are “squeaky”

The shoe looks great. Love the design and the quality of the leather and outsole.
It fits terrible. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear and I need to go down at least another 1/2 size. Not sure how this happens. It’s also heavy, so it’s not super comfortable (even if it did fit).

I love Born shoes, but I have found i need to order a full size smaller than normal. I normally wear an 11.5, I need a 10.5 in Born.
