Borns are usually very cushioned and comfy – these were nice but not as soft a sole as I would have liked.

I bought these shoes for my son and he LOVES them! He says they are just the right amount of support and he feels like he’s walking on air. He is kind of heavy footed and these Born shoes are very quiet.

I think I got a pair of lemons! I can’t explain how much I love this style shoe. I love everything about them, EXCEPT, they pop like firecrackers when I walk! How annoying.
I thought the insole was the issue rubbing against my foot and the shoe innards, so I took those out to test but.. nope. still popping like the 4th of July.
I believe the issue is where the upper attaches to the lower. The rubber soles have a few layers and i think air bubbles are being trapped due to layers not being properly glued? Anyway, I have issued a return and a new purchase to see if I actually had just a poorly manufactured pair, but now my size is back ordered and wont ship for 1 month.

Love the shoe. Great fit. Comfortable. Gave 4 stars since shoelace broke on third day. Shoelace quality has always been lacking for Born shoes. Zappos delivered in a timely manner.

I have a number of Born shoes but these are the most comfortable of all. In fact I have bought other colors of this Brock Boot!
I recommend it highly to friends and family!

Beautiful shoe…too tight in length…flat sole…no heel…I have flat feet…Zappos is great!

Size 10 is my size…tried 9.5 but too short…I just found out I have extremely flat feet…the flat sole and no heel make a dramatic difference…However, I do have a pair of Born Joel’s size 10 that I love…it’s a loafer style and doesn’t bother my feet…Zappos is great…if you’ve never called their customer service team, do it…you’ll really enjoy the entertainment and fantastic service…
