This is a great boot! It seems to run just a lil narrow tho. If you like to wear heavy socks it may be somewhat of a squeeze. I’m hoping when the leather stretches out that it won’t be a problem.

I love the foam in the foot bed. This boot is comfortable out of the box and the green color is unique.
I wear a 7 in a sandal and a 7.5 to 8 in a boot, depending on cut. This boot was perfect in a 7.5.

I really like these boots. They are comfortable and look stylish. I wanted some lower heels to wear with jeans and a dress with tights. These fill the bill for both looks.

I love these boots! Tried a few other pairs of black boots before stumbling across these online. All the reviews are correct – great looking boot, super comfortable. I’m usually between sizes so I got a 7 1/2 and 8. I ended up keeping the 7 1/2, and they fit perfectly.

Absolutely beautiful shoes and I wish they had fit me. My feet were too wide. My friends Mom recommended Born after saying the brand had “the most comfortable pair of boots she had ever worn.” Were I to have “normal” width feet and not needed more space for my toes and forefoot, I would have kept these in a heartbeat. In fact, you know when you do that thing when you try and fool yourself that you can “make it work” and hope? I learned through much research that a shoe should fit more or less out of the box and that, rather than hope they stretch, I simply need a C width instead of M/B. Sad to need to return them. My feet’s fault, not Born’s. 🙁

These shoes are great. They are just a tiny bit snug around my bunion but after wearing them for a few days I don’t really notice it. I have flat feet so they are wide and these feel pretty good. I would prefer more arch support, but I like how these have a squishy sole and are comfortable. They make up for having just a moderate amount of arch support. I could probably fit my insoles in and then problem would be solved. They’re very cute and go great with jeans. Very happy with my purchase overall!

Born does it again. These boots are beautiful, stylish and as always with Born, well crafted. I bought the blue distressed which is a very rich dark blue but not dark enough to be called navy. Looks great with jeans, leggings or a skirt. The famous arch support is offered in this boot. They may take a little breaking in but my experience with Born boots is that once you have them broken they conform beautifully to your feet for an individual fit feel. A medium weight sock has worked for me for this one. This style is very good looking and comfortable. The right boot makes a statement and you will surely make a statement with these. Glad I made the purchase. Can’t beat Zappos for service and a nice pair of boots that haven’t been tried on in the store which is important to me. Born does advise spraying with a protecting spray which I have found works beautifully and keeps the boots looking new longer. Pull the trigger, you’ll love these comfortable and handsome boots.

Gorgeous, fun and funky teal boots! Unusual and unique color. Will go with so many things in my closet. Felt about a half-size large. I’m usually 8.5-9. I’m a solid 8.5 in Born. Terrific brand. Well-made, durable and comfy as can be. Highly recommend.

I have had these now for a few months and love them. I bought them primarily because teal is my favorite color and you don’t find boots in the color. I figured I would wear them once in a while with jeans. Surprisingly I wear them a LOT. They seem to go with everything and add just the right bit of style. Also, they are REALLY comfortable and I have terrible feet with bunions and low arches. I also have wide feet.

OMG these are comfortable. It literally pains me to return them. So if I love everything about them, why the return?
I have problem feet, and very flexible soles are not great for my type of foot problem. If they had a little LESS bend, they’d be great. Far bendier than a running shoe (asics gel kayano or brooks glycerin), far less bendy than an aerosole. They do accommodate my chunky orthotic.
I wish I could find that penultimate match of cushioning (which these have in spades) without so much bend under the ball of your foot. Sesamoiditis and fallen arches prefer stiffer shoes!

My favorite boots ever! I have them in all the colors. I wear size 8 in boots and running shoes because I want them to be comfortable with socks and these fit great. I do wear size 7.5 in dressy heels because I normally wear those with stockings or bare leg. Very stylish and super comfy boots. Can walk for miles and still feel great. Great right out of the box. Love them!

Love these booties! I finally found a pair that worked for me. They are super comfortable and don’t need to be broken in at all. I bought the black (size 8) and grey (size 8.5). I normally wear an 8 or 8.5. The 8 is the perfect fit for me. I also kept the 8.5 and just wear a thicker sock.

These boots are fabulous. I wanted something I could wear with skirts and pants and they fit the bill. Love the color-although they are NOT navy- they are teal. Took two tries, as I usually wear an 8- but the 8 was too big. The 7.5 fit great. A few points: I do have wide duck feet and they are a teeny bit snug around the sides. They are tolerable- and they will stretch. Wish they made wides though. Same great Born quality I love and I dig the sassy tassels. I also have to say I had a small customer service issue that was taken care of in 5 minutes to my satisfaction. Why can’t all customer service be like Zappos???? ???????

These boots are phenomenal! I bought these for a trip to Seoul. Only two days out of the box I logged in over 12 miles of walking just touring around the city and my feet felt great. They are so comfortable and stylish for a casual look. This is an awesome winter boot. Great investment.

These are my favorite boots ever! I have this in all the colors. I wear a size 7.5 dress shoe (bare leg or hose) and a size 8 in sneakers and boots because I like to wear thick socks with those type of shoes. These are super comfy right out of the box and so very stylish to boot!

i seldom buy boots online. i have very specific requirements for a shoe, and am not someone willing to walk around in uncomfortable shoes all day just to look good. as a long time martial arts instructor, i take care of the health of my feet.
my feet are somewhat wide, and very strong, so i need shoes/boots with some width, a rounded toe, and NOT a lot of support. as someone who goes barefoot whenever i can, i like to be able to flex my foot as i walk, not be imprisoned by stiff leather or a hard sole.
on the other hand, i like boots that look good : relatively sleek lines (taking into account the need for width), not too ornate, but with something a little special to the look.
these boots fit all of those many requirements. i ordered my usual size (8.5) and they fit perfectly. the sole is flexible, and the leather is soft. they have that “crinkly” thing going on across the top, and the wrapped strap, but it is low-key. i thought i might hate the tassel, but actually, it is kind of cool — not too over the top.
the distressed grey is kind of a brownish grey, but it looks good. and the part of the boot around the ankle is close fitting enough that i can get pants over it, but not tight enough to be annoying.
my only problem with them is that they are heavy. they seem pretty well made, and so i suppose they have to weigh what they weigh, but i wish they were a little more lightly built. the heel is very chunky looking, and i think that is the place that makes them heavier than they need to be.

I looked for a long time to replace a pair of Born boots I had for years that I completely wore out. These were as close as I could get… I like the style, they look good with skinny jeans, leggings and tights with skirts. I have an average to wide foot with several foot issues. These are comfortable and I can wear them all day. They fit a little big but I like that so I can wear a pair of socks comfortably when it is cold outside.They definitely have a more casual look, as they are distressed.
