These are very nice looking shoes, BUT I could not keep on my feet with that new lining born uses.
I put to wide, but I don’t really think they were. I think it is just the new foot lining. Your feet have nothing to grip to.
I have always been a born person, but can’t keep returning forever. I switched to Taos which I haven’t had before. Fit perfect, seem to stay on nice.
If the snow ever goes away in mi., I will know for sure.
I only gave 2 stars because of lining. Born needs to return to leather insole!!!

I am a lover of Born, but not their newer sandals. The mesh lining and stitching on the footbed feels awful. I wish Born would go back to all-leather footbeds. For that alone, I’m returning these.

I also had a problem with that perforated (probably breathable) foot bed – my foot slid around. Loved the leather, color, stability of sole. But my foot slid around too much. Am returning these.

Five years ago, I had these sandals and absolutely loved them. I tried out a similar Clarks shoe after that and loved it, too, but liked the Born style much better. I ordered Hayka in Rust, and they were exactly the look I was going for, but I was really disappointed – this wasn’t the same shoe I had five years ago. The leather straps were much thicker and crisscrossed at an odd spot that felt uncomfortable. The footbed was mesh instead of leather, and my foot kept sliding around. I wanted a shoe that I could walk around for hours in, and this just isn’t it. I think I’ll stick with Clarks…

They felt medium width. I’m a 9 in most shoes and my toes were touching the sewn edges of foot bed as I walked around, which was not comfortable. The leather is nice and feels of good quality. They shoes just don’t feel right so will be returning.

I wear a 9.5 and these don’t come in 1/2 sizes. So I ordered A 10. Fit perfect. Very cute ! Feet slide a tad when walking with the comfort foot bed. Not enough to worry about. But so far very comfy . See pic

I have many Born shoes. They are my go-to daily shoe. Unfortunately, I didn’t like these at all. The style seemed a bit old-lady to me, the right shoe kept pushing my foot to the rear of the shoe until it felt like it would fall off. They are really padded and comfortable if the fit was right. Unfortunately, going back.

Original review 7/16/19. Now August 5 th. Would take away Stars. The straps stretch out so much they fall of my feet when I walk!! The straps are not adjustable. That would of remedied the issue . For the money. Very disappointed . Can’t wear them for long periods or to events. My feet slide around all over !!

High quality leather straps. The excessive width and slippery material footbed allowed my foot to slide around. Could not walk normally without shoe coming off.

like the Born support and style, but am returning this sandal because the edge of the insole – where the leather edge trim is stitched onto the fabric insole is rough and painful where my toes are “grabbing” the footbed. Too bad these sandals don’t have an all-leather insole like other styles and prior Born sandals I have had in the past.
