Great shoes. Very comfortable for dress up or casual. Fit about a half size smaller than advertised but no trouble with Zappos awesome return service.

I purchased these for my husband. It is a nice looking shoe. He says it is comfortable. Within 4 weeks of wearing the shoe the stitching on the top of the shoe at the toe came apart creating a small gap. I contacted Zappos and they sent a replacement pair without charge. He’s had the replacement pair over a month now and still in good shape.

I have worn Born shoes for years after suffering nerve damage in my foot they give me the comfort that I need to make it through the day. The style and selection is second to none. The Joel does fit 1/2 size smaller so order !/2 to 1 full size larger.
I had to return the first pair due to being to small and Zappos customer service can’t be beat.

I just spent two weeks in Europe wearing the Born Joel. I could not have been more pleased! I climbed the leaning tower of Pisa, St. Peter’s Cathedral and many other land marks. They felt like slippers on my feet day and night! I even wore them with shorts they were so comfortable. 5 stars!

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! His foot is not very flexible with a high arch and instep. These shoes have a thick cushioned footbed that conforms and supports his foot. I slipped them on and found it heavenly!!! The style is perfect to wear with both jeans and casual pants. We ordered his normal size and they fit perfect.

My husband wears a 10.5… it felt tight and too short to him. You might consider trying a 1/2 size bigger to start. Otherwise looks to be of decent quality and nice appearance.

As always Born delivers a shoe that fits perfectly and is comfortable right out of the box. Only had them for about a week so I can’t comment on durability yet. Look great with jeans, khakis, and cords

Great looking show but almost no arch support nor removable insole so that you can replace with your own orthotic.

This is my second pair of these … more than a few years apart. In both cases, in both 9 and 9-1/2, the toe length seemed a little short, but the 9-1/2 fit better overall. I would also note that I think that this pair of shoes may have been in storage a very long time, as the molded ‘rubber’ soles felt slightly aged or oxidized when i received them … They had achieved the sort of tackiness that seems to happen with older shoes. Not dissatisfied, but just saying …

I have 2 fairly new pairs of Borne chukka boots that fit perfectly at 11.5. These shoes were marked 11.5 but felt like 9.5 to 10.

I wear this shoe to the office every day. We’re on the more casual end of business casual and it’s perfect for that as well as most events and occasions that don’t require formal wear. Think I will probably purchase another pair when I wear them out.

Do not purchase from Zappos. I ordered a new pair of shoes and the shoes they sent were USED!!!! Terrible company.

I like how the toe box is slightly wider than average, that’s good for your feet. This is my second pair actually, I wore the first pair way too long but they lasted me a few years of wearing them a few times a week. Eventually the sole split but they were well used by then. The new pair was a little stiff but they’re breaking in nicely. And shoutout to Zappos, who replaced my initial order that had a torn stitch very promptly.
