Was not a fan of the bumpy footbed. Also I think I wanted something a little dressier so will take a look at some Johnston & Murphy “dress sneakers “

Shoes fit great, they run true to size. This is my first pair of Born shoes and will not be my last. The wife swears by Born shoes and I now understand why. Zappos is my favorite place for shoes. A++++++++++++++++

I have worn these shoes for days on end during travel and they have been comfortable from day 1. Size is a little smaller than some other brands. The look is a nice compromise between the sneaker style that’s everywhere now, and the good old plain toe oxfords that I’ve worn for years. These are light, summer shoes. I think the light color will probably stain. I think these will not look so good in distressed mode. But if they last through next summer I’ll be happy with the purchase.

Comfortable casual shoes, but not as comfortable on long walks.

Nice looking modern shoe and comfortable be in for hours. Fit feels slightly wider than a medium across the front.

I had been looking for a shoe that had the styling of a casual leather shoe with the comfort of a sneaker. The Marcus model by Born fit the bill. It’s dressy enough for work while delivering great comfort and style. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I’ve had these shoes for about a year, but I had only worn them regularly for the past 6 months. They’re very comfortable to wear. However, the neoprene lining makes them quite warm. My feet got very sweaty in them. I had to retire this pair because the stitching on the side of one of the shoes completely gave out. I wore them about 4-5 days a week for an office job that did not involve a lot of walking. I was very disappointed by the fact that they came apart so soon. I’m used to shoes, including other Born shoes (the Soledad was my go-to), lasting me about a year of regular use like this. While they were comfortable to wear and looked good, I won’t be buying another pair. I can’t afford to replace them every 6 months.

Within 4 months I’ve pretty much worn through the soles on both shoes. Really terrible.

A little wider than expected. Need to tie it pretty tight for a snug fit. But very comfortable.

This is a very comfortable shoe, but does NOT last! Bought the first pair in October 2023 and a second pair in Aug 2024. I thought it was OK for the amount I wore them, but now, 6 months later, the sole is already worn down and I have decided to move on to another shoe that will hopefully last longer. If you don’t plan to wear them often, they are comfortable, but the sole just doesn’t last if you wear them a few days a week like I do.
