These shoes look awesome and go well with Jeans, Grey pants etc. The sizing was correct. Initially the canvas was stiff and the tongue and heel cup were biting into my ankle. But after I stretched the shoe out, the biting stopped and it was comfortable. I love Born because the inner sole is plush and comfortable.

So I bought these for my husband because he works in NYC and has to walk to many client’s homes. He has not only ruined multiple pairs of nice dress shoes, but has also ruined his back from not having the proper walking shoe.
We took a chance on these. They look nice and just for the record, yesterday he walked over 20,000 steps (over 10 miles!) and not a complaint about the comfort of the shoe. Because they have ample cushion and large soles, they look like they will not wear out. Wish we had these sooner. We could’ve saved some really nice dress shoes and saved his back pain!

I hated to return these but had to because they were too tight. I was very impressed with how good the leather felt. These are a well made shoe!
I just wish they made wider widths.

I wanted to love these shoes. They’re quite comfortable and look very nice. Unfortunately, they soaked my feet multiple times walking in the lightest rain. This was not an issue with the suede, but more the stitching that joins the top to the sole. Water would seep quickly into each shoe in multiple spots along the top edge of the sole. I stopped wearing them on rainy days, and within a couple weeks, the rubber sole on one shoe completely split in half along the tread line while walking. I wore these roughly every other day for about 3 months before they became completely useless. The nature of the break makes them unable to be repaired. These were not cheap shoes, and I did not treat them roughly. These were my first Born shoes and they’ll also be my last. Very disappointed in these shoes and feel like I wasted my money.

Nice shoes but the fit doesn’t work for me. The length is spot on but the style of the shoe is too roomy in the toe box, similar to Keen style shoes (too much “volume” for me). The cushioning is great but the insole is sewn in and not removable.

Excellent- Born shoes gives you great comfort and style. Their rugged for big boys like me. I wear a 13 reg width in Nike running shoes and a 12M In Borns. Never trust reviews from the North or Left coast.

So far so good. 3 days of wear so far and no complaints. The heel was a little stiff at first, but hey, they’re new shoes. Styling is perfect for business casual. Lightweight and supportive enough for my standing desk. Didn’t care for the off-white laces in the brown leather model, but a quick and easy fix.

I ordered two pair of these… first, size 13 (since I wear a 12.5 and there are no half sizes), it was way to long. So I ordered the size 12, and it was extremely narrow, the length would have been okay. I returned the size 12 and kept the 13, with my orthodic insert it’s not such a bad fit. Would love them to make half sizes.

There are the most comfortable shoes I have purchased in a quite a while. I have a wide foot which makes finding shoes hard. These fit great!

A replacement pair. I have had several pairs of Born Soledad shoes in the past, and these fit perfectly. As comfortable as they have always been.
